Do you want to learn how to produce a podcast for one of the leading shows in the Life Sciences category? Are you interested to learn more about how technology is transforming clinical trials? Do you want to add a rare competency to your CV? Then you might be the intern we are looking for in the fall semester.
Transformation in Trials is a podcast hosted by Sam Parnell and Ivanna Rosendal. We invite guests onto the show to share with us their transformation journey as it relates to clinical trials. We focus on perspectives and experiences on how clinical trials have transformed over the years and we want to hear about this from the perspective of Technology, People, Process and of course Culture. We are currently wrapping up the first season, and are looking to bring onboard an intern for Season 2.
As a podcast producer intern, you will participate in the production of the show on equal footing with the two hosts. You will:
- Be part of the production team from August - December 2022
- Contribute 20 hours per month, or about 5 hours per week
- Edit 5 podcast episodes
- Create 5 promotional videos
- Create an additional 5 content pieces of choice, be it whitepapers, blog posts, animated explainer videos or whatever gets you excited
- Reach out to potential guests
- Create training material about how to operate a podcast
- Participate in production planning meetings every other week
- Be brave about stating your opinions and bringing your suggestions to the table
The internship is unpaid. None of us are compensated for creating a podcast - we do it because of the learning experience. We will cover your licence costs for software, but expect that you have a laptop, phone and stable internet connection. Following the completion of the internship, we are happy to write you a reference letter.
We imagine you are currently studying a degree in biotechnology, business, communications or something completely different. You have the time and ability to commit the time required to contribute to our production. Most importantly, you are interested in acquiring a coveted skill for your future job search.
We are based in Bristol and Copenhagen, and it would be convenient if you are located in one of our cities. But are open towards where you are located.

Transformation in Trials is a podcast where we invite guests onto the show to share with us their transformation journey as it relates to clinical trials. Anything goes in this podcast but what we hope to uncover from our guests is really their perspectives and experiences on how clinical trials have transformed over the years and we want to hear about this from the perspective of Technology, People, Process and of course Culture. We hope to encourage our guests to go against the grain and perhaps have some maverick view points, but as we say, anything goes!
